AUDIO VISUALIZER | THE.SPIRAL- Add soundfile in the Animation Nodes Editor
- Make sure the « Spectrum Count » value is above 0
- Start the animation
ADJUSTABLE THINGS:- Use « CURVE.spiral.length » to set size and position of the visualizer (You need to manually execute the nodetree or trigger a framechange to force Animation Nodes to update)- Adjust the settings in the node group in Animation Nodes- Adjust the assigned shader
The red vertex-color channel is linked to the spectrum intensity.
The green vertex-color channel gives every curve a unique value between 0 and 1.
INCLUDED PYTHON RENDER SCRIPT:
Somethimes Blender and AN don’t play well together. Should the standard render method fail (CTRL+F12) use the included python script. Make sure to disable « Auto Execution » in Animation Nodes since the script executes the nodetree right before rendering a frame. When running the script Blender will become unresponsive until the render is finished. You can track the render progress in the output directory!
